Special Meeting of the City Council

City of Butler,Pennsylvania

October 29, 2013

Mayor Stock called this special meeting to order at 6:00 PM.Mayor Stock and Councilwomen Scott,Kline, Guard and Councilman Schontz attended the meeting.

The purpose of this special meeting was to discuss the budget for Fiscal Year 2014 and to conduct other business as Council might deem appropriate.

Council went through each department by line item in the budget.There were several minor changes to the initial line items.

The significant changes to the draft budget are as follows:

Eliminate new vehicle for the Fire Chief.

• Additional fines added that will offset the purchase of a police AWD vehicle to be used for commercial vehicle enforcement.
• Decrease expense for the Sullivan Run Project.

A proposed, balanced budget and three enabling ordinances will be submitted to City Council on November 19th in accordance with the 2014 budget timeline.

Mayor Stock adjourned the meeting at 8:11 PM.
