Mayor Dandoy called the meeting to order at 5:00 PM. Mayor Dandoy and Council members Shearer and Christy were present.

1.In accordance with the provisions of Section 10801 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes – Title 11, motion to appoint Daniel G. Herr to the position of City Council to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Robert A. Dandoy for a term to expire on the first Monday in January 2024.  Second by CM Shearer.  All voted aye.

(Note:  The next municipal election is in November 2023, and the term of office for the person elected to the position of City Council at that time shall run from January 2024 to January 2028.)  

2.City Council met immediately after the swearing-in for its reorganization meeting. Mayor Dandoy, Councilman Shearer, Councilman Christy, and Councilman Herr were present.

PA Title 11 – § 11103. Director, Public Affairs & Bureau of Police – Mayor Dandoy.

Motion by Mayor Dandoy with second from CM Shearer to assign and reassign members of Council as follows:

Department of Accounts & Finance – Councilman Shearer

Department of Parks & Public Property – Councilman Herr

Department of Public Safety & Bureau of Fire – Councilman Christy

Department of Streets & Public Improvements – Councilman Walter

All voted aye.

Mayor Dandoy adjourned the meeting at 5:07 PM.
