BUTLER AREA PARKS REGULATIONS

1. Vehicles shall not be permitted to stand anywhere outside of designated parking spaces. Vehicles wherever parked at night shall have lights as prescribed for parking by the Motor Vehicle Laws.
2. No washing, polishing or repairing of motor vehicles is permitted in any park area.
3. No person shall take, use, have in their possession, or be under the influence of any opiates or other habit-forming drugs while in the parks.
4. No person shall drink, have in their possession, or be under the influence of any alcoholic beverage while in the parks without an approved Alcohol Permit issued by the City of Butler for the specific date and event.
5. If police services are required, call 911.
6. Fires are permitted only in the masonry fireplaces provided. Extinguish fires before leaving.
7. Deposit all rubbish and waste in the receptacles provided.
8. Do not use staples when covering tables.

Shelter Reservation Information
City of Butler

No person shall consume or possess an alcoholic beverage while in or on property within the Park System unless they possess a Shelter Rental and Alcohol Beverage PERMIT previously issued by the Office of the City Treasurer. Alcohol permits will be issued during normal office hours ONLY.

The consumption of alcohol within the Park System is prohibited without a permit. All Alcohol permit applications may be obtained at the Office of the City Treasurer. (Alcohol permits are $30 for weekdays and $40 for Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.)

Illegal drugs and controlled substances are prohibited within the Park System. No person shall consume or possess any illegal drug, drug paraphernalia or controlled substance. No person shall enter or remain in the Park System while under the influence of any illegal drug or controlled substance.

ROTARY SHELTER HAS A LOCKED ROOM WITH SINK AND COUNTER. KEY IS AVAILABLE IN THE TREASURER’S OFFICE FOR A $20.00 CASH REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT THE WEEK BEFORE YOUR EVENT.

TO RECEIVE A REFUND, CANCELLATION REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT LEAST 30 DAYS BEFORE EVENT.
